In this article we are going to go over a normal project and the flow of how our process works. Of course the process will vary from customer to customer project to project because everything we build is completely custom for our customers. We normally don’t do the same project repeatedly unless it is a pergola, or pavilion build something along the common lines of the services we provide. Still then the process can be different if it is a cash customer or a finance customer the flow may change slightly. With financing you may run into a delay depending on how fast documents are submitted to the lenders that they are requesting from you. PMH Project Flow
First Contact: Inform us how you heard about PMH. We want to know which one of marketing techniques worked for you that continues to help us grow.
Second Contact: Get scheduled for one of our outside salesmen to come to your home and discuss what you are looking for and get a proposal at no charge which is good for 30 days. If you stopped into one of our 3 showrooms to view our hot tubs in Edmond everything sales related can be done there in store or an appointment for a salesman will be booked if it can not. If you came from our website and filled out a lead sheet we will contact you to get your appointment scheduled over the phone, email, or text.
Third Contact: Once you approve and agree to your proposal and pay your 25% deposit toward your project you will receive a welcome email via docusign contract for you to lookover and sign. Your proposal agreed upon will be included in your docusign contract for your project so you know 100% what is being agreed upon. The contract keeps you accountable and us as your contractor accountable so be sure to look over everything and let us know if you notice any discrepancies or need further assurance. It is important to get your contract signed and sent back to us as soon as possible as that can delay the start of your project as well.
Fourth Contact: Project selections are up next. If you went to our showroom you can complete them there or you can schedule a day to come back to complete them. If you were scheduled for an outside sales appointment you will have to come to one of the 3 showrooms to complete your project selections unless you’re getting a pergola. We have a very accurate picture of the stains available and we can help you with that through email by sending you the picture. Once we send you your welcome email you will be informed whether or not we need your project selections still. Fifth Contact: Once your selections are complete this is when you can get excited about your outdoor living project. It is time to schedule your walkthrough. You will be meeting your PM who will be handling all things concerning your project, managing the timeline so you can start enjoying and making memories in your backyard. You and your PM will walk through your backyard discussing placement and structure of what the vision for the project is. Initial Walk-throughs normally take no more than 30-45 minutes. You get the opportunity to get familiar with your PM and what happens next and he gets familiar with your backyard and what needs to happen to start scheduling contractors to begin construction. Your walkthrough is also a good time if you haven’t already mentioned prior to your walkthrough if permits for HOA will be needed. You have 2 options to go about getting it filed.

We can file the permit on your behalf as the contractor for you which makes things a lot easier.
Last Contact: Your project manager will communicate with you and get your project started one to two weeks after your walk through. Your PM will know your progression payments and let you know when you have an upcoming payment and the amount it will be and collect it from you. If you decide to remove anything, change anything, or add anything you will be required to do a change order. It is a very similar process like the first docusign contract sent to you but it will not have all the details of your entire project only the change will be listed. The contract will have a link for you to pay for the change if required in the docusign.
