When to Book Your Pool Opening

This is a question we often hear. The pool season in Massachusetts and the rest of New England is short, meaning that you will want to maximize your fun. The key to remember is once the temperature starts to rise, so will the temperature of your pool water. Once the water in your pool starts to warm up, the growth of bacteria and algae will start to increase. We recommend opening your pool by mid May at the very latest. This means that the second week in May is our busiest week for openings and to get a date during that week, you would need to give us a call and get on the board by April 1st to secure a spot.

By opening your pool earlier, you will spend less money on chemicals and, more importantly, less time getting the pool to swim-able condition. This is especially important for those who would like to celebrate Memorial Day weekend by the pool.
